Instructions

The inventory contains collected map fragments, journal pages, and tools such as a compass and a weather-resistant lantern. The lantern is toggled with the F key or the D-pad up. The compass is displayed on the HUD and points toward the nearest unactivated monolith. A map screen, opened with the M key or the Select button, shows only the areas the player has physically traversed. No fast travel is available. Environmental hazards, such as extreme cold or heat, require the player to find shelter or craft temporary protection using gathered resources. Resources are collected by pressing the interaction key on flora, rock formations, or wreckage. The game saves automatically at each activated monolith and upon entering a shelter. No manual save function exists.
