Instructions

The objective of Undead Mahjong is to clear the board of all tiles by matching identical pairs. A tile is considered available for selection only if it is not covered by another tile and has at least one of its left or right edges free from adjacent tiles. The player selects a tile by clicking or tapping on it. A selected tile is highlighted with a glowing border. The player then selects a second tile that is an exact match of the first. If the two tiles are a valid pair and both are free, they are removed from the board and a score is added. If the selection is invalid, the tiles are deselected and a small time penalty is applied. A hint button, located in the lower right corner, highlights one available matching pair when pressed, but using it reduces the final score for that level. A shuffle button, located next to the hint button, rearranges all remaining tiles on the board, which can be used when no matches are visible. The player can also undo the last move by pressing the undo button, which returns the last removed pair to the board. The game is controlled entirely with a mouse on PC or touch input on mobile devices. No keyboard shortcuts are required. The game ends when all tiles are removed, resulting in a victory, or when the timer reaches zero, resulting in a loss.
