Gameplay and controls are based on a single primary interaction: rotating a segment of the path. The game world is divided into discrete, square tiles. Each tile may contain a straight path, a corner, a T-junction, or a dead end. The player character moves forward along the path automatically, stopping only when it reaches a dead end or the edge of a tile. To proceed, the player must select a tile adjacent to the character's current position. On a touchscreen device, this is done by tapping the tile. On a keyboard, the player uses the arrow keys or WASD to move a cursor over the tile and presses the spacebar or enter key to select it. Once selected, the tile rotates 90 degrees clockwise. This rotation changes the direction of the path on that tile, potentially connecting it to the tile the character occupies. If the rotation creates a connection, the character immediately moves onto the newly aligned tile. The character continues moving until it reaches another dead end. The player can rotate any tile on the screen, not only those directly adjacent to the character, allowing for forward planning. The game provides a limited number of total rotations per level, displayed in a counter at the top of the screen. If the character reaches the destination tile, the level is completed. If the character falls off the edge of the path or the rotation counter reaches zero without reaching the destination, the level is failed and must be restarted.
