Description
Peggle [FLASH] is a browser-based iteration of the core Peggle puzzle game, developed by PopCap Games and released in the late 2000s as a free, online version of the commercial title. The game is a single-player, physics-based puzzle experience where the player aims to clear a board of colored pegs by launching a ball from the top of the screen. The objective is to eliminate all orange pegs within a set number of balls, with each cleared board advancing the player to the next level. The game features a series of themed stages, each with a unique background and peg arrangement. A central mechanic is the "Free Ball" bucket, which appears at the bottom of the playfield and, when hit, grants the player an additional ball. The game also includes a "Magic Power" system, activated when the ball hits a specific green peg, which triggers a special effect such as a score multiplier or a wide paddle. The Flash version retains the core loop of aiming, launching, and watching the ball ricochet, but is limited to a subset of levels and lacks the full progression and unlockable content of the paid version. The game ends when the player fails to clear all orange pegs within the allotted balls, or upon completing the final level.

Instructions
Gameplay and controls are executed entirely through the computer mouse. The player clicks and holds the left mouse button on the ball launcher, located at the top center of the screen. A dotted trajectory line appears, indicating the ball's projected path. The player drags the mouse left or right to adjust the launch angle. Releasing the left mouse button fires the ball. The ball then descends, colliding with pegs, walls, and obstacles, and eventually falls to the bottom of the screen. A paddle, controlled by the mouse cursor, moves horizontally along the bottom edge. The player must position the paddle to catch the ball after its descent, preventing it from falling off the screen. If the ball is caught, it is relaunched from the paddle's position. The game provides a limited number of balls per level, displayed in a counter at the top of the screen. The player must clear all orange pegs to complete the level. A score is tallied based on the number of pegs hit, with bonus points awarded for clearing all orange pegs in a single shot. The "Free Ball" bucket, when hit, adds one ball to the remaining count. The "Magic Power" green peg, when struck, activates a visual and auditory effect that lasts for the remainder of that ball's descent. The game interface includes a pause button and a restart button, both located in the upper right corner. No keyboard input is required for standard gameplay.
