Instructions
Gameplay and controls are designed around a first-person perspective with a fixed crosshair. The player moves the character using the W, A, S, and D keys. The mouse controls the camera view and aiming direction. Left-clicking the mouse initiates the draw of the bowstring; holding the left mouse button increases the draw strength, which is indicated by a tension meter on the lower right of the screen. Releasing the left mouse button fires the arrow. The right mouse button activates a zoom function that narrows the field of view by 50 percent for precise aiming. The R key cycles through the three arrow types. The Q key opens the journal, which displays current objectives and animal tracking data. The E key interacts with objects such as campsites, animal tracks, and dropped arrows. The Shift key enables a slow-walk mode that reduces footstep noise, allowing the player to approach animals without detection. The Space bar performs a short sprint, but this increases noise and can alert nearby animals. The Tab key opens the pause menu, which includes options to save the game, adjust graphics settings, and quit. The game saves automatically at each campsite and upon completing a hunt. There is no manual save function. The interface displays a compass at the top of the screen, a wind direction indicator on the left, and a stamina bar on the bottom left that depletes during sprinting and regenerates when walking or standing still.
