This rule allows a player, once per game, to teleport one of their pieces to any unoccupied dark square on the board, provided the piece is not currently in a capturing sequence. The game supports local two-player mode and single-player mode against an artificial intelligence opponent with three difficulty settings. The soundtrack consists of ambient electronic tones that shift in pitch based on the player's turn. The game does not include online multiplayer or a tutorial beyond a text-based rule screen.

Instructions

Gameplay and controls are executed entirely through a mouse or touch input. The game board occupies the center of the screen. To move a piece, the player clicks or taps on a piece to select it. Valid destination squares are highlighted with a faint blue glow. The player then clicks or taps on a highlighted square to complete the move. Captures are mandatory; if a capture is available, only capturing moves are highlighted. Multiple captures are performed sequentially by clicking the piece after each capture until no further captures are possible. To promote a piece to a king, the piece must reach the opponent's back row; promotion occurs automatically at the end of the move. The "Astral Shift" ability is activated by clicking a small, star-shaped icon located in the upper right corner of the board. After clicking the icon, the player must click the piece to be shifted, then click the destination square. The icon becomes grayed out after use for the remainder of the game. The game menu is accessed by pressing the Escape key or a gear icon on the screen. From the menu, the player can resign, restart, or adjust the AI difficulty. The game does not include a pause function during a turn.
